Popular Study Abroad Countries to Visit


  • Students were flocking to study abroad in 2014/15.  Greece  had the highest amount of growth between 2013/14 to 2014/2015 with 18.3 percent, while Argentina had the  highest decline out of the top 25 countries with -13.8  according to Institute of international education.

  • The below chart shows the most popular and unpopular places students choose to study abroad. According to the Institute of  International Education during the years 2013-2015, over 35,000 students choose to study abroad in Greece. The least popular place was Chile; less than 5,000 people choose to study there.
